Bookabee Tours Australia (Bookabee) operates tours throughout Australia. These tours involve travel through outback areas which are sometimes remote and isolated. For these reasons we reserve the right to alter itineraries, accommodation and transport as the necessity arises by way of weather, road, mechanical defect or any other foreseeable or unforeseeable operational conditions. (We strongly recommend Travel Insurance) Any personal expense incurred by a passenger as a result of any delay, alteration or curtailment of any tour is at the sole responsibility of the passenger. Bookabee is unable to guarantee exact arrival and departure times and is not liable for any failure to make connection with or guarantee operation of any particular service. Any unused portion, of a tour, for what ever reason, is not refundable. Whilst Bookabee will take all reasonable steps to provide an enjoyable tour, Bookabee accepts no liability for any loss of enjoyment whatsoever or howsoever experienced by the passenger. Bookabee or it's representative has absolute discretion to withdraw from or curtail any person/s participation in any tour or activity, who due to their mental or physical condition, is such as to render them incapable of caring for themselves, or become objectionable to other passengers, or they become a hazard to themselves or other passengers.

Concessions:

Children 2 years of age and under are considered to be infants and will require a seat of their own on extended tours. A nominal charge will be made - please contact Bookabee with details. Children 3 years to 13 years are considered to be children when sharing with a minimum of two full fare adults. Please contact Bookabee with details, to avail the most suitable arrangements for a family. Alternative accommodation more suited to families than has been listed is available upon request.

Smoking:

Due to Government and Company regulations, smoking is prohibited inside our vehicles. Frequent stops are made for the comfort and enjoyment of all passengers.

Safety:

For health and safety reasons windows of the vehicle must be closed whilst traveling on unsealed roads. For passenger comfort the vehicle has dual air-conditioning.

Payments:

Pre-payment is the preferred option for payment with non-refundable 20% deposit due at time of booking confirmation.

Rates:

Please note all prices quoted are in Australian Dollars, and are valid from 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2008. For future validity dates and rates please contact us. *NB: Persons traveling alone must pay the single supplement plus the twin share rate.

Cancellation:

Cancellation must be made in writing. Such notice is not effective until received by the company during normal working hours. If a tour has commenced there will be no refund of fare or unused portion of tour. The following fees apply to each individual person on cancellation when travelling on a public tour.

Amendments:

Confirmed bookings will incur a $50.00 per change fee to make any ammendments to the tours.

Travel Documents:

Final documentation will be issued upon receipt of cleared funds.

Travel Insurance:

A travel Insurance policy purchased in the country of origin covering loss of deposit, airfares, accommodation charges, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and repatriation expenses is strongly recommended. The insurance should cover loss arising from the passenger’s inability to travel due to any reason whatsoever. Bookabee Australia accepts no responsibility for any loss, damages or expenses incurred by a person travelling.

Luggage:

Soft pack bag for luggage such as backpacks or duffle bags are desirable:

Max. weight limit 15 kgs.

Note – max. size 24”x 18”x 9”, (larger sizes permitted by arrangement only).

What to Bring:

Casual comfortable clothing is recommended including light loose clothing for summer. Neat casual dress is required for some restaurants. Several changes including warm clothes for early morning and evenings are recommended. The suggested list below may assist you in packing efficiently.
  • Wide brim hat and sunglasses;
  • Sunscreen & Insect Repellent (recommend "Rid");
  • Personal water bottle (for walks);
  • Small daypack/bag for your personal items;
  • Personal toiletries and medications;
  • Bathers and towel, (warmer weather);
  • Sturdy comfortable walking shoes with good gripping tread (enclosed);
  • Torch and batteries;
  • Clothing for warm to hot days;
  • Clothing for cool to cold nights;
  • Don’t forget your camera and film
